Named for the author’s daughter, Adrianna, this first in a series of books channels the inner child of author Evelyn Nazario-Rose, taking readers on a tour of beautiful places around the island of Puerto Rico while addressing coming-of-age themes, including acceptance and pride of self and heritage—all through the eyes of Adrianna.

Evelyn believes these topics are both relevant and important. Far too common, not to be discussed and addressed. It is Evelyn’s hope that the Adrianna’s Adventures in Puerto Rico book series will provides a safe place for both the young and old to do so.

As a Puerto Rican, Evelyn struggled with several issues that elicited confusion about who she was. More importantly, they made her question her identity as a Latina and more specifically, as a Puerto Rican.
